Michael Chappell is a highly experienced digital and mobile device forensic examiner with a background as a Senior Detective in the New Zealand Police. He has extensive experience in investigating fraud, cybercrime, and criminal intelligence cases, and is one of New Zealand’s first Certified Forensic Computer Examiners (IACIS, USA).

As founder of New Zealand Forensics, Michael provides independent forensic services to law firms, investigators, and government agencies nationwide. He regularly prepares expert reports and has presented evidence in the District, High, and Appeal Courts.
