Yii Min Wee is a junior forensic engineer specialising in vehicle crash investigation and mechanical evidence analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology and a New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil). Min is currently completing a Master of Professional Practice at Otago Polytechnic, where his research focuses on integrating mechanical and digital crash reconstruction methods.

Min works under the supervision of recognised forensic experts, contributing to real-world investigations involving vehicle collisions, mechanical failures, industrial incidents and firearms classification. His casework includes crash investigation matters in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States, ranging from corporate fleet crash reviews to historical wrongful conviction reinvestigations. He has also assisted in firearm forensic examinations relating to weapon modification, legal compliance, and fatal incidents.
